CMW is a trans-Tasman Geotechnical Consultancy with 10 offices and over 200 employees throughout Australia and New Zealand. Our projects cover construction and civil engineering from larger long-term national roading projects to smaller residential developments.
CMW has maintained year on year growth since establishing in 2012 and our Perth office is looking to bring on an ICT professional to support the Group Digital Technology Manager in responding to the IT requests of the 250 staff across all offices.
This role is on the front line of IT support for the wider business, you'll be resolving system outages, onboarding and off-boarding new employees, setting up hardware and supporting the Perth office with day to day IT requests.
Working closely with the Group Digital Technology Manager based in Auckland, this role will be busy and varied.
**Responsibilities**
- Efficient IT Helpdesk operations. Maintain ITSM solution including request, issue, problem, and change.
- Laptop and handheld device deployment deployment, and support using remote tools such as Team Viewer
- Troubleshoot connectivity and network issues (Cellular, Wi-Fi, LAN, VPN, Fibre,)
- Monitor systems proactively and perform regular Backup/Restoration process
- Maintain cyber security principles, threat monitoring, threat response and the general security practices.
- Systems documentation and Knowledge based article publication
**Qualifications/Experience**
- 1+ years Previous experience in Support Technician role is essential
- 1+ years ITIL ITSM experience.
- Certified Microsoft Professional qualifications preferable
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365 administration
- Excellent customer service skills, initiative & motivation, analytical & problem-solving skills, team player, ability to self-manage and work unsupervised.
