We are hiring a skilled Rubrik Backup & Recovery Specialist to design, implement, and manage Rubrik solutions across on-premises and cloud environments. This role is critical to ensuring data integrity, cyber resiliency, and seamless backup and recovery operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Rubrik Expertise: Deploy, configure, and maintain Rubrik backup solutions, including Polaris.
- Backup & Recovery Operations: Ensure data integrity and manage archiving processes across hybrid environments.
- Problem Solving & Root Cause Analysis: Troubleshoot issues and perform root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
- Automation & Scripting: Develop scripts and automation tools to streamline backup workflows.
- Cloud & On-Premises Management: Manage backup solutions across hybrid cloud and on-premises infrastructures.
- Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams including storage, networking, and security.Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Maintain detailed documentation and share knowledge with team members.**Qualifications & Experience**:
- Rubrik Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Rubrik’s features, including Polaris and its internal workings.
- Storage Systems: Knowledge of major storage vendors (NetApp, Dell EMC, etc.) and technologies (SAN, NAS, DAS).
- Backup & Recovery: Strong understanding of backup principles, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
- Virtualization & Networking: Basic understanding of virtualization technologies and networking concepts.
- Scripting & Automation: Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) and automation tools.
- Problem Solving: Ability to identify, resolve, and prevent technical issues through root cause analysis.
- Communication & Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
