Job description

We are a fast paced, dynamic retail environment seeking a reliable, honest, hardworking individual to join our team as a shop assistant

You will need to be physically fit as the role involves standing and lifting.

You will need to be able to work well with others, on your own and follow manager direction well to ensure that tasks are completed to required standards in a timely manner.

We’re looking for someone with
- Flexible availability, ideally across 7 days
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail
- A willingness to learn
- Cash handling skills

Previous retail experience is a bonus, however we are willing to train the right person with the right attitude

- Enthusiastic

The job will involve food preparation in the back of house as well as shop duties
- cashiering
- assisting customers with enquiries
- keep cases and shelves clean and well stocked
- maintain accurate department signage and pricing
- stock shelves, displays and fridges
- maintain back stock in good order
- maintain a safe, clean and well-organised environment
- comply with all applicable health and safety procedures

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

**Salary**: $15.00 - $50.00 per hour
