**About the role**

We are seeking passionate and caring **Support Workers** to join our dynamic team at **Gleam Team Domestic Services'**. In this **casual** role, you will be responsible for providing domestic assistance and shopping support to our aged clients in the **Adelaide metro**area. We are seeking applicants in the **North/North-East** and **Western suburbs** of Adelaide.

This is an important position that contributes to the wellbeing and independence of our valued clients.

**What you'll be doing**
- Assisting clients with daily domestic tasks such as light cleaning, changing bed linen, hanging laundry, etc.
- Occasionally accompanying clients on grocery shopping trips and helping them with their shopping needs
- Providing companionship and social support to clients, promoting their independence and quality of life
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to client services
- Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines

**What we're looking for**
- Previous experience in a similar **aged care** or **disability support** role, preferably within the **community services** industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients
- A caring, compassionate, and patient approach when working with vulnerable clients
- A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- A current National Police Clearance
- A current First Aid Certificate is mandatory for any staff taking clients shopping.
