**About the role**
The Dental Assistant supports the students learning as part of an energetic team.

This role includes inducting and directing students, providing a wide variety of simulated learning activities, supporting live patient clinic sessions, reception, administration and working with the sterilisation team. It also includes the provision of consumables, coordination and maintenance of storage areas and equipment.

There is a lot of opportunity to use initiative and troubleshooting abilities in this dynamic environment.

**Special Conditions**
- Out of hours work may be required;
- Some intra/interstate travel and overnight absences may be required;
- Incumbent will be required to participate in the department's Performance Development Program;
- Eligibility to work in Australia;
