**Choice Dental - Browns Plains Is offering a Dental Assistant - Traineeship**

We are looking for the right like-minded person to join our busy practice, so show us your bright bubbly personality, natural warmth, and great customer service skills. Good hand eye co-ordination, a quick study capacity, a good eye for detail all important.

**This position would suit a recent school leaver. **We will offer support and encourage successful applicant to complete Dental Assisting Cert III with support of (Australian Academy of Dental Assisting College). Work 27-37 hours per week No experience necessary but may be an advantage.

**About the Role**:

- Ongoing learning & following of protocols for infection control & personal safety
- Instrument Sterilisation processing
- Preparation of surgeries for dental procedures
- Assisting Dental Hygienist
- Progressively learning Chair side assisting for Check Up & Cleans; Restorations; Endo; Ortho; Oral Surgery; Digital scanning/Photography and more
- Coordinate and organise laboratory work
- Occasional reception duties such as answering phones and making appointments
- Fluent verbal and written English
- Diligence and safety awareness
- Initiative-taking and demonstrate initiative
- Confident and cheerful disposition
- Compassionate and caring
- Able to build rapport and help patients feel at ease
- Great personal presentation
- Good computer literacy
- Punctual
- An ability to multi-task and work well within a team
- Willing to undergo training for certificate III in Dental Assisting with internal and external training
- Self manage & Complete tasks, assessments, assignments set by training organisation

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual, Apprenticeship
Part-time hours: 28-38 per week

**Salary**: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
