**About the position**:
**we are seeking a reliable, friendly dental assistant that has good knowledge and understanding of the role and who enjoys working within a team.**
- **Dental Assistant with proven experience in dental**:

- **Chair-side assisting, sterilisation & some reception**:

- **30-38 hrs a week**:

- **Flexibility to work some or all Saturdays &/or evenings are an advantage**:

- minimum 1 +yr’ DA experience (more the better)
- Certificate III in DA (preferable)

**About the Practice**: Choice Dental is a fully accredited and patient focused practice. We have been established for over 26 years and offer a wide variety of comprehensive dental services that include Preventative, Restorative, Orthodontic, Implant and Cosmetic Dentistry to many local families.

**Duties & Responsibilities will Include**:

- Assisting our Dentists & OHT with all aspects of chair-side
- Adhere to & follow current infection control policies & practice procedures
- Sterilisation, tracking duties
- Preparation of surgeries for dental procedures / Surgery turn around
- Charting
- Deliver exceptional dental care & excellent customer service
- Process HICAPS payments, Answering telephone calls & enquiries
- Schedule Dental Appointments
- Meticulous in sterilisation of instruments and equipment
- Proven knowledge & skill in sterilisation / infection control procedures
- Experience in dental chair side assisting
- String attention to detail & safety awareness
- Able to build rapport & help patients feel at ease
- Works well in a team environment
- Good time management and organisation skills
- Dental software experience & Good computer literacy skills
- Fluent verbal and written English
- Reception and HICAPS Experience

Communicable disease status is required on commencement.

hourly rate determined by experience

**Salary**: $29.00 - $35.00 per hour
