We are looking for qualified Fire Door Technicians/Carpenters to join our dynamic passive fire team for projects across Greater Sydney areas.

**We’re looking for**:
Experienced, hardworking and reliable Fire Door Technicians/Carpenters with extensive carpentry knowledge and specific proven experience with door installation. We are looking for someone to start immediately. This is a full time position on a salary basis. Majority of the work will be undertaken within the Sydney metro area.

**Essential criteria**:

- Must have relevant trade qualification + 2 years experience.
- Proven experience and knowledge in installing & maintaining equipment (Passive Doors, Fire Doors, Solid Core Doors, Hollow Core Doors, Frame Installations & Hardware) in accordance with required standards
- Problem solving/ troubleshooting, ability to identify, work through and resolve issues as they arise on site.
- Hardworking, reliable, has good communication, time management and organisational skills.
- The ability to follow company policies and procedures at all times and ensure safety and adherence to OH&S is a priority.
- Ability to work flexible work hours as required.
- Current Driver licence.
- Current White card.

**Job description**
- Installation of doors (Fire rated & non-rated, Fire Doors, Solid Core Doors, Hollow Core Doors) in accordance with Australian Standards.
- Service and repair doors and door hardware.
- Installation of fire rated frames & backfilling in accordance with relevant BCA regulations.
- Inspect, test, service & maintenance of doors & hardware.
- Always liaise with clientele/residents in a professional & respectful manner.
- Liaise and coordinate with management, office-based support team, suppliers, sub-contractors & service staff.
- Compliance with current building codes, technical specifications and company safety policy to ensure safety and adherence to OH&S is a priority.
- Other Carpentry duties, as required.
