**The Role**
A great opportunity now exists for an enthusiastic individual with a ‘can do’ attitude to join our Adelaide team as a **Fire Alarm Technician.**This full-time role will require the successful applicant to be able to plan, organize and have excellent time management skills. The applicant must be able to work autonomously as well as demonstrate versatility and support within a team environment.
Your **primary duties** will include:
- Carrying out repairs, maintenance and minor installations to fire protection equipment to Australian Standards including, but not limited to, Fire Alarms, Evacuation Systems, Emergency Lighting and other building safety features.
- Routine testing in accordance with the Australian Standards to fire protection equipment.
- Liaising with customers, promoting a professional and friendly image.
- Ensuring compliance to Environmental Health and Safety requirements.
**Key qualities** we are looking for include, but are not limited to:
- A Grade Electrical Licence
- Communications Cabling Registration
- Strong customer focus and a ‘can-do’ attitude
- Ability to work as a member of a team as well as work autonomously
- Sound knowledge using smart phone technologies
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Ability to travel and work away from home, as required
- Willingness to multi-skill into other areas of fire protection
