**About the Role**:
We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate **Disability Support Worker** to provide high-quality care and support for two male participants living in a **Supported Independent Living (SIL)** environment. Both participants live with **Intellectual Disability**, **Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)**, and **Mental Health** conditions.

You will play a key role in promoting independence, dignity, and daily wellbeing while delivering person-centred care tailored to the individual needs of each participant.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide active support with daily living tasks including:

- **Personal care** (toileting, bathing, grooming)
- Meal preparation
- Medication administration and monitoring
- Community access and social engagement
- Household tasks and routines
- Implement behaviour support strategies in line with participant plans
- Monitor and record progress, incidents, and wellbeing
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care
- Promote a safe, respectful, and empowering environment for all

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 6-12 months experience working with individuals with **Intellectual Disability**, **ASD**, and **Mental Health**:

- Proven experience in delivering **personal care**, including **toileting and bathing**:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Working With Children Check (if applicable)
- Current driver’s licence and reliable transport
- Relevant Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, or related field

**Desirable**:

- Experience working in **SIL settings**:

- Understanding of Positive Behaviour Support Plans
- Mental Health First Aid training

Pay: $34.00 - $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 30 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person
