**About the Opportunity**:
**_ Leadership_**

Inspire, lead and mentor the live events team

Contribute to the decision-making process for strategic business development and growth

Support within the greater Live Events team

**_ Project Management_**

Be fully accountable for the projects under your direction and work with the Events Leader, Sales Team, and the customer to ensure that the event brief and budget are fully understood to deliver creative and logístically sound solutions

Brief all departments and lead onsite teams

Ensure adherence to all standards, procedures and SLA

Management of concurrent projects from end to end

**_ Account Management_**

Develop and manage existing customer relationships for consistent and repeat business opportunities

Proactively seek & source new sales leads to maximise the potential customer base and grow margin where possible to ensure company and team targets are met/exceeded

Take overall accountability for a project pitch; develop, write and present customer proposals

**What You Will Bring**:
A minimum of 5 years demonstrated experience in project management within the event management and production industry, including managing offshore destinations, foreign currency budgets, complex and high profile events

A passion and proven track record in effective leadership and experience in training and mentoring team members

Excellent time management and attention to detail

Strong financial acumen

Demonstrated effective customer service skills.

Knowledge of project management processes, standards and procedures

A knowledge of all major suppliers and relevant MICE products and destinations

Advanced use of systems and platforms including Microsoft Office, Wrike, Procim, EventsAir including OnAir and any other virtual event platform as required.
