We are searching for **Female & Male Support Workers** who have excellent communicate and interpersonal skills. This includes supporting and encouraging participants to participate in a range of day-to-day activities based on their hobbies, interests and goals set within their NDIS support plans. While performing the duties of this role, you will be respectful of participants culture, privacy, and dignity. **Essential **_**skills and experiences**_ **required to be successful in this role** - Hold Certificate or currently studying Cert III/IV in Disability /or in Aged Care/ individual support or Minimum work experience within the Care Service Sector. - Current First Aid/ CPR Qualifications - Working with Children Check - NDIS Workers Screening Clearance - Current Australian Driver’s License - Intermediate computer skills (i.e.: using Microsoft Outlook & Word, Smart Phone Rostering App., Scanning & Printing). - Minimum of 3 full business day availability (weekends additional) - Ability to work independently and effectively manage time - Ability to understand the vulnerabilities and needs of people with disability and the issues they faced - Willing to complete NDIS Orientation Module & COVID-19 Infection Control Module **Desired** A relevant qualification or experience in the following is desired: - Experience supporting people with Mental Health and Complex Behaviours. - High care knowledge and experience including catheter care, bowel care (suppository and/or enema), personal care, and PEG feeding - Accredited Diabetes Training, Epilepsy Training etc. - Can Assist Clients with Medication **N.B: If you are a new graduate with a certificate in Disability, Aged Care, or any relevant qualifications in the health sector e.g., Mental Health, Diploma/Bachelor of Nursing, please apply** **Job Type**: Casual **Salary**: $30.50 - $42.75 per hour **Benefits**: - Employee mentoring program - Professional development assistance Schedule: - 10 hour shift - 12 hour shift - 8 hour shift - Afternoon shift - Day shift - Evening shift - Fixed shift - Monday to Friday - Morning shift - Night shift - Public holidays - Rotating roster - Shift work - Weekend availability Supplemental pay types: - Annual bonus - Overtime pay - Performance bonus
