We are looking for a Communication Technician to join our Sydney delivery team, working in high security Data Centre environments. Locations are in Eastern Creek and Erskine Park.

**Responsibilities**:

- Installing, operating, and maintaining communications networks and equipment.
- Installing telecommunications equipment such as routers, switches, multiplexors, cable trays, and alarm and fire-suppression system.
- Documents network by labeling and routing equipment and cables and recording configuration diagrams and specifications.
- Troubleshooting and repairing outages, testing network back-up procedures, and updating documentation.
- Listening to and resolving concerns and answering questions.

**Qualifications** **Required**:

- Australian IT and / or communication Tertiary qualification or equivalent.
- One to three years of related IT/telecommunications experience.
- Experience working in high security data centre environments or equivalent - Highly sought after
