**About the role**
the Investment Risk and Compliance team at Cbus exists to provide support to Investments in making decisions and managing risk in line with Cbus’s risk appetite. The team is responsible for the effective implementation of Cbus’ first line investment risk management and compliance frameworks. Working with Investments, and Enterprise Risk, Compliance and Governance Management teams, the team identify new and emerging risk and compliance obligations that will impact the Investments business unit.

Due to promotion we have the role of Analyst available to assist the Investments team to identify, review and assess the operational risk in their processes, ensuring that there are robust preventative and/or detective controls to manage risks in line with established risk appetite and work to enhance and implement Investments’ compliance management plan. This role also supports the Manager in completing operational due diligence reviews for new and existing investment managers.

We are looking for your experience within investment compliance and operational risk, ideally within a superannuation fund, investment bank, broker, investment manager or custodian environment across different asset classes and hedge funds.

An understanding of the Bloomberg, Charles River or similar portfolio management system compliance modules along with an understanding of operational due diligence experience and/or experience with operational processes in the trade lifecycle across different asset classes.
