Due to significant growth of our Global business, we have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Specialist with a minimum of 5 year’s-experience in FMCG or consumer goods marketing industry, to join our dedicated and talented team.

SodaStream is looking for a Quality specialist - Full-Time Position

South-East location in Knoxfield, VIC, on-site parking

The Quality Specialist is responsible for supporting all plant activities & Market units regarding Quality and compliance, with a focus on the production departments, taking into account the internal and external requirements for quality, product safety, and legislative compliance regulations.

Main responsibilities include (but not limited to):

- Ability to lead, influence and foster a quality culture & mindset of continuous improvement.
- Develops, implements and maintains a quality system according to the company standards.
- Understanding of customer expectations of and needs from a product, translating this into quality control processes which are developed and implemented accordingly.
- Is responsible for quality checks of the raw materials that are used in production, and also during the production and packing process.
- Monitoring and evaluating internal production processes aimed at continuous improvement
- Evaluating the final output of products to determine their quality and approving or rejecting products
- Responsible for conducting investigation into product failure/rejection aimed at process improvement
- Conducts quality checks and audits at suppliers and sub-contractors working with the local quality supplier manager.
- Initiates action when significant quality errors occur which require an advanced expertise.
- Ensures necessary quality documentation/reporting.
- Proposes measures to optimize processes.
- Assists in the implementation of these measures in collaboration with the service personnel.
- Is responsible for the implementation and maintaining of the ISO certification.
- Producing statistical reports on quality standards and timely reporting to relevant stakeholders on quality standard issues
- Evaluating product recalls.
- Improving production efficiency and waste management.
- Leading and coordinating operations department education, training and development programs, followed by training calendar and record management as required.
- Support market with any open issues or questions related to product and processes
- Any other duties as required..
