**The Role**
Reporting directly to the Operations Director you be responsible for supporting all plant activities & market units regarding Quality and Compliance. In detail your responsibilities will include:

- Develop, implement and maintain a quality system according to the company standards.
- Understanding of customer expectations translating into quality control processes which are developed and implemented accordingly
- Quality checks of all materials
- Monitoring and evaluating internal production processes aimed at continuous improvement
- Conduct investigations into product failure/rejection aimed at process improvement
- Conduct quality checks and audits with suppliers and sub-contractors
- Ensure necessary quality documentation & reporting
- Implementation and maintaining of the ISO certification
- Produce and monitor statistical reports on quality standards for the business
- Improving production efficiency and waste management
- Lead and coordinate the operations department education, training and development programs

**Preferred Experience**
- Relevant education and qualification
- Proven experience in quality management, ideally within FMCG, beverage or food industry.
- Comprehensive knowledge of general quality standards & practices, procedures, operations, legislation, and compliance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organised individual with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a broader team
- Ability to investigate issues and find solutions
- Proven crisis management and leadership
