At Entain Australia and New Zealand, as part of the Safer Gambling team, where excitement meets responsibility As a vital team member, you'll dive into the world of analysing customer transactions and account behaviour to uncover signs of potential problematic gambling. Beyond analysis, you'll actively engage with customers, deploying empathy and effective communication to guide customers towards safer gambling practices and offering support and resources to address their concerns.

**Where and how you can work**
This role is based in Brisbane, Australia (HQ). At Entain AUS & NZ, we value a flexible work environment and support a hybrid working model, allowing employees to spend two days a week at the office, ensuring work-life balance and individual preferences.

**_Please note: This role requires flexibility beyond the standard Monday to Friday, 9-5 schedule._**

**Your day-to-day.**
- Monitor customer behaviour using data monitoring systems and manual reviews of transactions.
- Offer assistance for inquiries related to safer gambling.
- Engage with customers exhibiting signs of potential problem gambling.
- Manage customer self-exclusion requests.
- Act as a point of contact for distressed customers and their families, providing support.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and teams.
- Complete daily administrative tasks.

**What you’ll bring**
- A great attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including active listening.
- Strong analytical skills including the ability to draw conclusions from different information sources.
- Proficiency in managing and handling sensitive information with utmost confidentiality.
- Demonstrated ability to express empathy and understanding towards diverse client personal situations.
- Familiarity with IT concepts and tools is essential.
- Knowledge of both the wagering industry and safer gambling practices or the ability to develop such knowledge.
- A qualification in a relevant field, such as psychology, social work, counselling, or a related discipline, is beneficial but not essential.
