Family owned and operated from 2 Brisbane store locations at Capalaba and Morayfield, we believe our experience in the industry enables us to offer a high standard of customer service to our customers.

Our company is dedicated to providing the highest possible customer service and a value for money shopping experience and we are currently seeking **Retail Assistants **with a customer focus to join our friendly team in our **Capalaba store**.

- **About The Role / Responsibilities**:_
- Operation of the cash register system, including POS
- Maintain, security procedures and cash handling procedures
- Customer service and assistance
- Maintain orderly appearance of register area.
- Greeting, acknowledging and actively engaging every customer
- Merchandise and aid in the maintenance of floor stock levels
- Maintain an awareness of promotions and specials.
- Support the team and contribute to building a collaborative, enjoyable work environment
- Make a significant and continued contribution to the team and store's performance

- **Skills & Experience**:_
- Must have experience using cash registers
- Must be physical able to stand for extended periods and to move and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures throughout the store, which entails lifting
- Experience working in Retail, Customer Service, preferred but not essential
- Thrives in a fast paced, team environment and demonstrates a high level of confidence, enthusiasm and energy
- Strong commitment and passion for delivering exceptional customer service
- Ability to maintain a calm demeanour when communicating, and working, with customers and other staff
- Acts in a professional manner, using appropriate interpersonal skills to support & contribute to a collaborative team environment.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks to work efficiently and within timelines

We are seeking people who want to join the team in an ongoing casual position.

**Flexibility to work a number of shifts each week, including a weekend shift, is required.**

**Pay rate is dependent on age and is paid in line with the General Retail Award - this is a Level 1 role**
