Job Description **Your opportunity to join our team** We are seeking a motivated **Leading Hand** to support our Further Processing operations in the Packing department. This hands-on leadership role is vital in guiding and developing the team while ensuring smooth operations. You’ll act as the critical link between plant floor teams and leadership, fostering positivity and teamwork aligned with company values. **Available Shifts**: - **Night Shift**: Monday to Friday, 11:00 pm to 8:30 am **Benefits** - Immediate start - Onsite Parking - Great employee benefits including product discounts, travel discounts + more - Great job security with an ASX-listed and stable company - The health, safety and wellbeing of our people is our highest priority - Fast-paced and team focused environment - Uniforms provided & cleaned by Ingham’s **Daily Tasks** - Lead and coach the packing team to meet performance goals. - Report on operations and assist with general work planning. - Establish and uphold safety standards, taking corrective actions as needed. - Execute plans, allocate resources, and track performance against deadlines. - Identify and manage Food Safety and Quality risks in collaboration with supervisors. **You will bring to this role** - Leadership experience in a high-volume manufacturing industry. - Food manufacturing or FMCG experience (preferred). - Strong communication and leadership skills to drive team success. - A focus on continuous improvement in processes and people. - Experience with vertical seal machines - preferred not mandatory - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and GMP compliance. - Ability to work in a cold environment. - A "can-do" attitude and commitment to building team capability. - Lead by example, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
