**The Opportunity**

Our client is a leader in their industry with its Head Office based CBD outskirts. Due to growth, they are now seeking a Bookkeeper to join their team. Reporting to the Financial Controller and working with a close knit finance team, your duties and responsibilities will include:
**The Role**
- Ensure accuracy of monthly financial statements
- Journals
- Accruals
- Bank and general ledger reconciliations
- Accounts payable
- Accounts receivable
- Overseeing of payroll
- Prepare end of month accounts
- Preparation and lodgement of BAS
- Assisting with internal and external audit
- Liaise with their Accountants for the annual FBT and Income Tax returns
- Ad hoc duties

**Skills and Experience**

Ideally you will have a minimum of 2 - 3 years bookkeeping experience, have intermediate Excel skills and used XERO or MYOB system. You will enjoy problem solving, be organised and have good attention to detail. Supportive team and a fast paced company. Good communication skills are important as you will be liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
