Melbourne, Australia The Great Southern Hotel Full time

The **Great Southern Hotel Melbourne (GSH-Melbourne)** is a 4 Star hotel located in the heart of Melbourne CBD. We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor on a full-time basis to join our team. You must take pride in your work and be willing to go that "extra mile" to make our guest's stay an enjoyable one. This is a physically demanding role that requires an energetic and enthusiastic person who is ready and willing to work as part of a team.

**About the role**:
**As our Maintenance Supervisor, your responsibilities will include**:

- General maintenance activities for the upkeep of the Hotel to high standards
- General plumbing, carpentry, grouting, painting and much more
- Supervise maintenance Team Members and provide guidance and support
- Ensure all areas of property are maintained
- Ensure all maintenance Team Members are following the correct policies

**About you**:

- Have a keen eye for detail
- Be self-motivated and be able to work unsupervised
- Must be available to work 38 hours a week from Monday to Friday.
- Have knowledge and understanding of similar general maintenance position (i.e., knowledge of plumbing, painting, and general maintenance)
- Be committed to providing extraordinary service
- Have good communication and interpersonal skill
- Be reliable and articular in the job
