HEAVY DUTY MECHANICS / FITTERS - FIFO 8/6 ROSTERS - **$230K+ ANNUAL PACKAGE + SUPER PAID ON ALL HOURS FIFO FROM PERTH TO SITE**

**$80 p/hr** + **4 WEEKS annual leave** + **Super on all hours worked**

Reporting to the **Mobile Maintenance Supervisor** and working in a challenging and exciting environment within the Pilbara Mining Operations Mobile Maintenance Team, you will be required to:

- Maintain a high level of safety awareness and comply with all Customer Company Policies and procedures
- Conduct routine inspections of the mobile maintenance fleet and determine repair action when required
- Actively contribute to continuous improvement projects - increasing safety whilst reducing risk & cost
- Utilise SAP to ensure that maintenance tasks are recorded, assigned correctly and completed to the relevant standard / specification
- Attend to breakdowns and carry out repairs in the field
- Conduct planned repairs and maintenance according to detailed scheduled plan.
- Receive on the job training by equipment specialists to improve skills and performance

**What you’ll bring**
- A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
- A Heavy-Duty Fitter or Plant Mechanic Trade Certificate
- Preferable experience in maintaining open cut mobile mining equipment
- LIEBHERR 996 and 9400 experience Highly advantageous
- Excellent diagnostic and fault-finding ability
- High Risk Licences - Forklift, Working at Heights, Dogging, Elevated Work Platforms (Can arrange after employment)
- An Australian manual drivers’ licence

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $80.00 per hour

- 12 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Newman, WA: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Heavy Diesel Mechanic - Plant technician: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- MR Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
