Lead Analyst

**About the Role**
Come join BOQ as a Lead Analyst for our Temenos T24 transformation We are currently embarking on a huge digital cloud transformation that has seen us announce partnerships with Microsoft and Temenos to bring together BOQ, ME Bank and Virgin Money onto one banking cloud platform.

The purpose of this position is to support Bank’s Core Banking system to ensure business needs are achieved. The aim of this role is to maximise the system potential, minimise system downtime and improve overall user experience. The position will engage with the business for enhancements to core systems. This is achieved by, understanding the business and their end-to-end processes, analysing the business problem, and identifying appropriate solutions.

The Position requires quick understanding of internal and external environments and challenge the accepted practices and solutions. Also, to collaborate within the team and the wider business to ensure value added solutions are delivered from time to time.

We are looking for a Lead Analyst to provide Product knowledge, leadership, and direction to Core Banking platform for future.
- Defining/Articulating functional/technical requirements and reporting them back to stakeholders
- Conducts analysis of business needs, objectives and requirements
- Performing gap analysis between current and desired Product outcome, root cause analysis
- Assess the technical feasibility of business ideas.
- Undertake and complete detailed analysis around problems identified.
- Ensure core system business parameter changes comply with defined change management processes.
- Serve as the initial point of escalation for software development issues within the core banking domain.
- Continuously championing Agile Methodologies to release & deploy iterations of our services.
- Represent the team and product line in cross-functional discussion.
- Develop and deliver Demos and Proof of concepts based on customer requirements.
- Provide technical and functional support throughout the project lifecycle, including developing functional specification and Business design documents.

**About you**
- 10+ years of Product development experience in Temenos transact.
- Experience in Temenos Transact modules Arrangement Architecture, Core Accounts, Limits, Collaterals, Funds transfer, Temenos Payment Hub
- Working knowledge on Loans, Deposits, Accounts and Payment products
- Experience working in a team focusing on large-scale, multi-release information centric projects
- Excellent communication/interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across business lines at all levels.
- Strong technical, problem solving and analytical reasoning skills to understand end user’s requirements and transform into operational solutions.
- Strong research & time management skills to manage multiple projects and meet concurrent deadlines.
