Animal Attendant Experienced

**EXPERIENCED CASUAL ANIMAL ATTENDANT**

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated casual Animal Attendant to join our team. Applicants must currently reside locally and be committed to a career as an animal attendant. Please note, this position is not suitable for those studying or planning to become a vet nurse.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support daily operations of our cat hotel, including check-ins, check-outs, and general puddycat care.
- Keep hotel and clinic areas spotless and hygienic following cleaning protocols.
- Monitor animal health and behaviour, reporting concerns promptly.
- Administer medications as directed by the vet team.
- Provide friendly, professional service at reception and over the phone.
- Engage cats in play and enrichment to keep them stimulated and content.
- Maintain accurate records of care, feeding, and any issues noted.
- Assist vets with handling pets during exams and procedures.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 1 year of experience in a professional animal care setting (cat experience highly regarded).
- Flexible availability, including weekends.
- Genuine passion for animal welfare and high standards of care.
- Strong communication skills.
- High attention to cleanliness and detail.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Team player with a friendly and positive attitude

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Blakehurst NSW 2221: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Certificate I - IV (required)

**Experience**:

- Animal Attendant: 1 year (required)

**Language**:

- English (required)
