Casual Animal Attendant

**EXPERIENCED CASUAL ANIMAL ATTENDANT**

We’re looking for a caring and reliable casual Animal Attendant to join our team, ideally someone local who is committed to building a career in hands-on animal care.

$30-$32 per hour plus casual loading,

**What you’ll do**:

- Help with daily running of our cat hotel - check-ins, check-outs, and cat care.
- Keep hotel and clinic areas clean and hygienic.
- Watch animal health and behaviour, and report any concerns.
- Give medications as directed by vets.
- Provide friendly service at reception and on the phone.
- Play with and enrich cats to keep them happy and stimulated.
- Record feeding, care, and any issues.
- Assist vets with handling pets during exams and procedures.

**What we’re looking for**:

- At least one year in professional animal care (cat experience is a big plus).
- Flexibility across the week, including weekends.
- Strong passion for animal welfare and excellent standards of care.
- Reliability and genuine care for the animals, our hotel, and the team.
- Good communication and teamwork.
- High attention to cleanliness and detail.
- Able to work independently and take initiative.

Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour

- Certificate I - IV (required)

**Experience**:

- Animal Attendant: 1 year (required)
