EXPERIENCED CASUAL ANIMAL ATTENDANT

We're looking for a caring and reliable casual Animal Attendant to join our team, ideally someone local who is committed to building a career in hands-on animal care.

$30-$32 per hour plus casual loading,

What you'll do:

  • Help with daily running of our cat hotel – check-ins, check-outs, and cat care.
  • Keep hotel and clinic areas clean and hygienic.
  • Watch animal health and behaviour, and report any concerns.
  • Give medications as directed by vets.
  • Provide friendly service at reception and on the phone.
  • Play with and enrich cats to keep them happy and stimulated.
  • Record feeding, care, and any issues.
  • Assist vets with handling pets during exams and procedures.

What we're looking for:

  • At least one year in professional animal care (cat experience is a big plus).
  • Flexibility across the week, including weekends.
  • Strong passion for animal welfare and excellent standards of care.
  • Reliability and genuine care for the animals, our hotel, and the team.
  • Good communication and teamwork.
  • High attention to cleanliness and detail.
  • Able to work independently and take initiative.

Pay: $30.00 – $32.00 per hour
