**About the role**:
Reporting to the Scheduling Manager, this role is responsible for the design, modelling and documentation of reinforcing steel to Australia’s major construction projects. You will interact directly with Tier 1 customers and internal stakeholders to determine customer needs and ensure the accurate supply of reinforcing steel to each major project.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Create and deliver accurate BIM models using Revit
- Implement design changes and updates throughout the project lifecycle
- Streamline workflows using BIM technology to improve project efficiency
- Understand project objectives and advise on engineering solutions
- Engage with clients and design engineers to achieve optimal outcomes for both internal and external stakeholders

**About your experience**:
**Advantageous skills for this role**:

- Previous experience as a modeller
- Experience in steel reinforcement detailing
- Technical mindset with an ability to read and understand technical drawings to create models
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong time management
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- A diploma, certificate or degree in civil/structural engineering, drafting, architecture or animation
- Experience in modelling software such as Revit, TEKLA, Autocad or similar
