**Purpose
Create inspiring and empowering design work in the print and digital space whilst adhering to the Coates Visual Brand Guidelines, values, personality and purpose.

This role will be part of the global marketing team to produce and maintain content across various platforms. Working in a fast paced environment and mentored by your Senior Digital Designer, the Junior Digital Designer will have the opportunity to learn, share and grow with an always evolving business. If you are a passionate, detail oriented designer with an interest in design, art direction, illustration, motion design or all of the above, our multi-disciplinary team would love to hear from you.

**Individual Accountabilities**:

- Ability to design using the Coates Brand Guidelines
- Corporate design support and execution across presentations, photo/video editing, product materials, event branding and general support of marketing and internal communications across various departments of the business.
- Work with various teams across the business on presentation creation, with a strong focus on information design and layouts
- Assist with content creation and management across the company social media channels from ideation phases to final outcomes
- Conceptual design development and creative idea sharing sessions
- Regular review and update of corporate materials and product documentation based on brand guidelines and input from creative briefs
- Proactive research into visual design trends to ensure continuous improvement in design
- Work simultaneously on multiple projects and manage a busy workload

**Skills, Experience and Qualifications**:

- Tertiary education in design, visual communication or marketing related discipline
- Experience using the Adobe Suite (particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects) and Microsoft Office Suite
- A portfolio demonstrating versatility and in a variety of design work
- Ability to follow brand guidelines to ensure visual consistency across design assets
- Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills.
- Proven project management capabilities and the ability to see a brief through from start to finish.
- Ability to engage in feedback processes, quickly implement changes and offer alternatives while being able to meet deadlines.
- Experience or an interest in Illustration and/or motion graphics is desirable.
- Experience in copywriting an advantage
- Understanding of web-based design platforms such as Figma and WordPress an advantage
