**About the Company**

Our client is a global organisation operating in seven sites across Australia and offering an unrivalled portfolio of services.

Reporting to the Sales Manager you will join a team of professionals in their freight forwarding division. You will be responsible for identifying and developing business opportunities and the profitable management of projects and contracts, from start to finish.

**About the role**
- Undertake and review operational planning activities to meet customer requirements and seasonal volume forecast profiles
- Focus on local business development by obtaining new accounts and improve on business with existing accounts
- Generate leads, set appointments and present business proposals to potential customers through various
- Manage and maintain pipelines, respond to requests for information in a timely manner and remain proactive
and responsive to prospective customers
- Collaborate on tender and business development activities
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels in the organization and present confidently to large groups and forums
- Strong business acumen with the ability to manage P&L and commercial requirements effectively

**Essential Criteria**
- Minimum 3 years of Commercial/ Contract or Account Management or related experience
- Proven knowledge and track record within the Aerospace, Airline industry
- Sound knowledge of all facets of freight forwarding or logistics industry
- Ability to gain new business and develop existing business

- Excellent reporting and presentation skills
- Results focused and comfortable working in a dynamic environment
