**The Role**
In this newly created role, you will be responsible for specialising in Commercial Insurance across a number of diverse industries.

**_This position could suit a Broker Assistant that is looking for their next step into an Account Executive position whilst learning and developing from a team highly experienced team of Brokers._**

**_This could also suit an experienced Account Executive that is looking for their next step and would like exposure to a more challenging portfolio. _**Responsibilities include:

- Assist the Account Manager with a portfolio of midmarket commercial insurance including Hospitality, Property and Liability
- Processing new business, renewals, and policy preparation and maintenance including amendments and endorsements
- Liaising with internal stakeholders to identify, manage and execute new client acquisition opportunities
- Working with clients to identify insurable risks and formulate loss mitigation strategies to optimise commercial insurance coverage
- Grow the existing portfolio organically through quality service delivery and referral network
- Cultivate key relationships with Insurers

**About You**
- 1-3 years’ experience working within General Insurance industry ideally, within a Broker Assistant or Broking role
- Confident communication skills both written and verbal
- A high degree of organisational skills and the ability to multi-task, learn quickly and be proactive
