**Position Overview**:
We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Disability Support Workers to join our team. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals with disabilities by providing personalized care and support tailored to their unique needs.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide hands-on assistance with daily activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household chores.
- Assist individuals with disabilities in accessing community resources and participating in social activities.
- Foster independence and autonomy by implementing person-centered care plans.
- Monitor and report changes in the individual's condition or behavior to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Build trusting relationships with individuals and their families, promoting a supportive and inclusive environment.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in disability support or a related field is preferred but not required. We provide comprehensive training for all new hires.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to make a positive impact in the lives of others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 30 per week

**Experience**:

- Disability Support: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification & CPR (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

Work Location: In person
