Disability Support Worker

**Role Overview**: As a Support Worker under the NDIS, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals with disabilities, helping them to achieve their personal goals and improve their quality of life. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences, delivering tailored support that fosters independence and well-being.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide personal care and support to clients in their homes and community settings.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Support clients in achieving their goals as outlined in their NDIS plans.
- Foster a positive and supportive environment, respecting clients' dignity and preferences.
- Maintain accurate records of support provided and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate team members.
- Collaborate with clients, families, and other stakeholders to ensure a holistic approach to support.
**Key Requirements**:
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Home and Community) or equivalent qualification.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
- First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Previous experience in a support worker role is preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients.
- Reliable, trustworthy, and committed to delivering high-quality care.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule effectively.

Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4 - 10 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
Licence/Certification:
- First Aid Certification (required)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (required)
- National Police Certificate (required)
- Driver Licence (required)
- Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent (required)

- Australia (required)
