**About the Role**

Join us as a Partner Data Risk, Models and AI, where you'll work closely with BOQ Group divisions to support the implementation, monitoring, and assurance of the Risk and Controls Framework to appropriately manage the risk, delivering the right risk and return outcomes. Your role will primarily focus on risk practices and setting the control framework related to data, AI, and models. You'll provide trusted advice to the business as it implements the Risk and Controls Framework and responds to data, model, and AI-related issues and incidents. You'll monitor and assure the effectiveness of the data risk management and ensure an appropriate control environment, providing meaningful analysis and reporting to enable effective management oversight of key risks and issues. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring that the organisation’s risk management strategies are robust, effective, and aligned with regulatory requirements and best practices. You'll be integral to driving a proactive risk culture across the Group, embedding key risk management processes, and delivering a risk partnering function that provides advisory, monitoring, and assurance services to all Divisions, aligned with the strategic direction and growth of the BOQ Group.

You are a proactive and analytical thinker with a strong background in data, AI, and 2nd line risk management. You have a proven track record of providing trusted advice and effectively managing risk control environments. Your excellent communication skills enable you to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, auditors, and regulatory bodies. You are passionate about driving a strong risk culture and are committed to continuous improvement. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are excited about the opportunity to work with various departments, including Data, Technology, Risk and our Business, to achieve the strategic goals of the BOQ Group.
