**Inside Sales Consultant (Account Manager)**:
Virgin Australia is now embarking on an exciting new chapter in the next stage of our journey. The objective of the _Inside Sales Consultant (Account Manager)
- _is to drive group sales by managing existing accounts, increasing revenue from existing accounts, as well as growing the portfolio of business.

This role will align the organisation to deliver the impact statement of building Australia’s most loved airline with a key focus on our Business Flyer Program.

**_ Key responsibilities of this role:_**
- Achieve sales budget and improve revenue growth and revenue quality in the Business Events & Group Travel channel
- Follow up on leads and close sales to increase revenue from existing customers
- Engage in the crafting of a robust revenue development plan for the Groups channel
- Grow existing business of customers through various activities and client engagement
- Retain customers through active and productive account management
- Work with your team members to ensure all work is being attended to within the outlined SLA’s to achieve team revenue and customer service targets
- Work with internal stakeholders to ensure maximum benefit to the customer is achieved
- Ensure all queues and inboxes are managed daily and within their SLA requirements
- Proactively reach out to new and existing customers
- Develop and execute a customer engagement plan (including support from the manager and team).
- Understand the customers’ needs in order to provide and consult on arrangements
- Ensure all information provided is clear and accurate
- Ensure thorough product knowledge of all Virgin Australia products

**_What we're looking for:_**
- Proven ability in customer service, sales and building relationships with clients
- Knowledge of a GDS is desirable but not essential
- Proven experience in negotiating in a competitive environment
- Highly developed written and oral communication skills
- Ability to priorities work and responded to high volume customer requests and enquiries effectively
- Demonstrated ability to engage and operate at all customer levels while also able to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and partners (internally and externally)
- Highly organised and able to work well under high pressure

This role is predominately based at our Brisbane HQ at South Bank (with the provision to occasionally work from home).
