**About the role**:
This role is critical to the successful delivery of the Digital Insurer (DI) Program. Working with the DI Test Director, this role will ensure non-prod environment availability and all related processes, stakeholder engagement and technical support.

It is essential that you have both a strong technical background and understand integration points, in addition to exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills as you will be working with a wide range of stakeholders across the business and technology streams.

Initially a 12 month fixed term contract, there are likely to be opportunities after this time for extension or to move to other significant projects within Suncorp. The role offers a hybrid working environment (2-3 days office based).

**What you’ll do**:

- Develop and implement Environment Management strategies and plans for non-production environments (NPE), including processes and tools to enable controlled and authorised migration of code between environments.
- Develops clear plans to improve availability of NPE with a focus on continuous improvement.
Build visibility systems to radiate and track NPE availability and outage trends with root cause analysis.
- Work with System Architects, Test Director and Release Managers to factor in test environment requirements for the Program - considering both functional and non-functional test phases.
- Establish Environment Management engineering processes & procedures and tools to assist the environment requirements for technical and testing teams across the program.
- Develop resource management plans and work with Chapter Leads to hire, onboard, coach and mentor team members.

**What you’ll bring**:

- Minimum 5 years of previous Environment Management experience in large scale program settings (must have a strong understanding of integration points)
- 5+ years working within an Agile environment
- Minimum 5 years Insurance Industry experience
- Advanced stakeholder management skills at all levels of management
- Flexibility and resilience in responding to multiple changing priorities
