**About the role**:
This is a fantastic time to be joining Suncorp as the industry goes through significant change. One of the largest transformation projects ever undertaken by Suncorp, you will join at the beginning phase of this exciting initiative which is expected to run for 5+ years.

We are looking for an experienced Program Test Manager who really wants to make their mark on the testing environment at Suncorp. You will be an avid problem solver, an inspiring manager and have the drive and passion to get things done. Given the seniority of this role you will be expected to be office based three days per week and work from home two days per week.

**What you’ll do**:

- Lead the testing for the program including all aspects of program testing, environment management, testing tooling and test automation approaches.
- Provide quality & test advocacy, resource planning & management, resolution of issues that impede the testing effort, and regular status updates to key stakeholders.
- Supervise, direct and co-ordinate the activities of Environment Managers, Program Test Leads, Tribe Quality Leads, Test Analysts, and business testers in line with Suncorp’s Quality Assurance and Business Acceptance Testing Frameworks, building a high performing team.
- Responsible for high level defect tracking, test execution tracking and determining system readiness for critical project phases.

**What you’ll bring**:

- ISTQB Certified Tester Advanced Level Certification (CTFL) - mandatory
- Minimum 3 years Insurance Industry experience and a minimum 5 years of previous Test Management experience in large scale program setting
- 3+ years working within an Agile environment
- Evidence of building high performing teams; as well as maintaining strong relationships with vendors, technical staff, and customers
- Advanced interpersonal and negotiation skills, with proven ability to interpret problems, identify key issues, and provide recommendations to build effective solutions
- Demonstrated advanced understanding of testing frameworks, quality processes, business risk profiling and analysis
- Demonstrated advanced understanding of defect management and resolution processes
- Understanding of SDLC (Systems Development Life Cycle) and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle)
