**We're hiring for a Barista at Pretty Handsome in Burleigh**

We’re looking for an experienced and highly motivated Barista to join our team as we grow busier.

We are looking for someone who has exceptional barista experience in a fast-paced and busy cafe. We have a state-of-the-art coffee setup
- _La Marzocco Strada S_
- _x2 Mahlkonig E80 Grind-by-weight grinders_
- _Integrated PUQ Press_
- to assist in consistency and efficiency and we need someone to lead, ensure consistency and help grow the business.
- **If you possess the following, then this role may be for you**:_
- Minimum 1-2 years experience with _**modern**_barista equipment (similar to above).
- Ability to lead staff in a productive work environment.
- The ability to adjust and refine the coffee grind and follow the recipe to deliver consistently great coffee.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Possess astute attention to detail and great customer service
- Experience in specialty coffee advantageous

- Communicate effectively in the workplace and promote a highly productive environment among staff
- Provide a great end-to-end experience for customers
- A permanent/management position is on offer for the right applicant._

We’re looking for a self-motivated individual who is passionate about coffee, loves the pace of a busy cafe and can lead and mentor staff.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $31.00 - $38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 38 per week
