**About the role**
Reporting to the State Manager and based at our
**Perth Branch**, the State Operations Manager - SA/WA/NT role supports Branch Managers throughout SA / WA / NT
**. **The role’s primary purpose is to ensure branches have sufficient support, resources and guidance to achieve objectives while maintaining the highest safety and compliance standards.

**Primary Responsibilities**
- Effective and efficient management of the general operations of all branch staff, skills and service, working closely with Branch Managers
- Implement strategies to increase efficiency, maintain quality and safety, and ensure continuous improvement
- Ensure effective planning for growth within the business
- Review and provide opportunities to improve processes for schedulers, logistics team, yard staff and drivers. Streamlining processes and eliminating waste
- Champion ongoing support of telematics systems

**To be successful for the role, you will have**
- Tertiary qualifications in Management
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Be prepared to travel regularly throughout SA / WA / NT to support the State and Branch Managers
- Proven experience mentoring and leading teams across a multi-site network
- The ability to establish productive, professional relationships at all levels of the business, including liaising with many departments and specialties to achieve positional objectives
- An eye for efficiencies and continuous improvement
