**CNC Machinist**

We are currently seeking a CNC Machinist, based at our workshop in Canningvale. We are offering full time employment with a minimum of 38 hours work a week plus overtime.

All day shift hours, family friendly hours, overtime offered if you are willing.

**To be successful you will ideally have the following skills**:
Experience operating CNC lathes.

Must have experience working in a jobbing workshop.
- Previous experience as a CNC Machinist using Fanuc and Siemens controller
- Be able to work well unsupervised and independently
- Have good communication skills
- Be a team player
- Be reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Must be able to read and understand detailed drawings
- Must be able to setup jobs, program CNC machine.
- Work well as part of a team and autonomously.
- Manual handling experience
- A good understanding of OH & S
- Excellent working attitude.

**Essential Criteria**
- Trade qualification in Machining
- Current Driver's license
- Immediate Start Desirable
- Current Work Safe Forklift Ticket (desirable not essential)

Demonstrated ability to read and interpret drawings.

A medical and drug and alcohol test will need to be passed for employment to commence.

**Salary**: $35.00 - $47.00 per hour
