- Weekdays: $32.56/hr
- Saturdays: $45.59/hr
- Sundays: $58.61/hr
- Sleepovers: $150 flat rate

We’re LEDA Support Services - a small, passionate team that truly cares. Right now, we’re looking for someone lovely to join us as a **Support Worker** in one of our **Supported Independent Living (SIL)** houses in **Kippa-Ring**.

**What the job involves**:

- Supporting our amazing clients with their daily routines (things like personal care, getting ready, appointments)
- Helping out around the house - cooking, cleaning, keeping things feeling like home
- Building real connections, having conversations, and creating safe, positive spaces
- Being part of a team that values clear communication and has each other’s backs
- Sleepover shifts (yes, you get paid to be there overnight - and it’s a flat rate of $150)

- SIL or disability support experience is great, but not a dealbreaker - if your heart’s in the right place, we can teach the rest

**About the Role**

Leda Support Services Pty Ltd is seeking passionate and reliable Disability Support Workers to join our team. This role is responsible for implementing individualised training and support programs that enhance the daily living, employment, and recreational skills of people living with a disability.Your work will promote independence, inclusion, and personal choice through tailored services in home and community settings.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Support clients in daily life activities including personal care, employment, household tasks, and community access.
- Provide 1:1 or small group support in line with client needs and service plans.
- Promote participation in age-appropriate social, recreational, and developmental opportunities.
- Administer medication and follow all relevant health, safety, and privacy protocols.
- Maintain accurate client documentation and contribute to service planning and reviews.
- Communicate with clients, families, case managers, and other stakeholders to achieve individual goals.
- Contribute to behavioural and lifestyle planning and act as a key worker where applicable.
- Attend regular staff meetings, planning sessions, and training.
- Report concerns to management and provide shift availability with as much notice as possible.
- Keep all required certifications and checks up to date

**About You**
- Empathetic, client-focused, and passionate about person-centred care.
- Adaptable with excellent time management and communication skills.
- Able to follow policies and uphold safety, privacy, and ethical standards.
- Commitment to social inclusion, diversity, and respectful engagement.
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

**Requirements**:

- Current First Aid and CPR Certification
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Blue Card (Working with Children - Mandatory)
- Driver's Licence and a reliable vehicle
- Relevant qualification or experience in disability, community, or aged care support
- Willingness to undertake training (WHS, Medication, Infection Control, etc.)
