An excellent opportunity for an experienced personal/ mortgage lender to work with leading bank. This role reports to the call centre manager and head of credit. Ideally you will have relevant experience in a similar role with a bank and have an understanding of consumer lending.

In this role as a Team Leader Lending, you will
- Lead a team of lenders within the call centre team.
- Accountable for the landing team to drive sales through conversion of inbound enquires.
- Proactively oversee lending team pipelines from lead to settlement.
- Responsible for rostering the lending team.
- Coach lending staff to deliver exceptional customer experience.
- Coach staff to deliver high standards of customer relationship engagement through the sales process.
- Liaise between the Contact Centre Manager and the Credit Team to manage file escalations (Policy and SLA) to maximise conversion rates.
- Ensure all risk, compliance and audit requirements are met.

Skills Required:

- 3 - 5 years’ experience as a personal and or mortgage lender in a bank.
- Understanding of banking policies and procedures.
- Exceptional communication skills
- Exceptional analysis/problem solving and negotiation skills.
- Leadership and coaching skills.
- Certificate III or IV in financial services
- Undergraduate qualifications in Business/Marketing/Management
