Shift: Permanent Shift Monday 4-8PM St. Mary's and flexible time for other days in Liverpool.

**About your role**:
To provide will personal assistance with client's day to day activities
- Assisting people to perform important daily activities
- Performing home based tasks such as food preparation and housework
- Undertaking tasks outside the home such as shopping
- Ensuring a varied program of social activities
- Providing emotional support and friendship

**Requirements: FEMALE APPLICANTS ONLY**
- Preferably a qualification in Disability Support Work or a year's experience in caring for people with disability
- NDIS Worker Check and Working with Children Check
- Working with Children's Check
- Valid drivers’ license and comprehensive car insurance for transporting participants
- First aid with CPR Certificate
- Infection Control and PPE Certificate (or willing to obtain ASAP)
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail and timely updating of progress notes and record keeping
- Ability to problem solve and handle challenging situations
- Must have a working mobile phone with access to internet data
- Have current work rights in Australia

**DESIRABLE CRITERIA**:

- Punctual and professional in communication within the team
- Client prefers female support worker aged 40 years and above
- Can cook meals for the participant
- Provides initiative for participants to have productive day
- Creative to provide participants new ideas where they can be interested in trying new things

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $33.00 - $38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 16 per week

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Morning shift
