**About the role**

We are offering an opportunity for the right Support Worker to work with a female participant in the Penrith area. You must have a genuine care and interest for people with disability as well as be reliable,and understanding. Please note this is a community position, not in a group home setting.

Our participant will need support accessing the community as well requiring support with activities of daily living.

The position would suit a mature person in the Penrith area and who is looking for part time hours.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Support with activities of daily living
- Support with manual handling tasks
- Support to attend appointments and access the community
- Track and document an individual’s progress through detailed note keeping

**Skills & Experience**
- Must have demonstrated experience supporting people with disability
- Experiance with manual handling
- Be able to swim and not afaird to get into a pool with participant
- Current Australian Drivers Licence.
- A genuine care and interest in supporting people with disability.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with participants.

Please note: Mandatory COVID-19 vaccinations are required for this position, in accordance with relevant Public Health Orders. Evidence will be requested.

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $32.00 - $40.00 per hour
