Disability Support Worker

**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
We are currently seeking support workers who have a passion for working in disability support. Must have own car.

**Duties**:

- Assisting clients with personal care.
- Assisting clients with housekeeping or other daily errands.
- Taking clients out shopping, cafes, and appointments
- Providing companionship and emotional support.
- Observing and reporting on changes in the health or status of the client.

**Skills and experience (desirable)**:

- Experience working with people with a disability.
- Demonstrated understanding of person-centered care.
- Demonstrated ability in working with people with disabilities and promoting capacity building through support work.
- Demonstrated positive communication, time management, and teamwork skills.

**Selection Criteria: Essential**
- Certificate 3 in Individual Support/Disability or equivalent industry experience.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Current Police Check, Working with Children's Check & First Aid Certificate.
- Current COVID certificate
