**About the roles**

We have multiple roles available for driven procurement professionals to join us in the positions of:

- Category Specialist (ICT)
- Category Specialist (Goods and Services)

You will work closely with the ICT and other branches of Council on new procurement initiatives, contract renewals, contract management and forward planning, playing a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective management of contracts and procurement processes.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

- Provide specialist advice to stakeholders on contract and procurement issues, legislative and contractual requirements for the provision of best practice procurement service throughout the life cycle
- Contribute to and assist in the development and implementation of category strategies, strategic procurement plans, procurement policies and procedures
- Proactively manage contract relationships to explore, identify and understand customer requirements to improve the performance of Council’s contracts
- Prepare technically and commercially accurate tender documents, solicit bids, and commercially evaluate responses
- Respond to complex customer service enquires on the interpretation of tenders and contracts
- Contribute to the development and implementation of category strategies, Strategic Procurement plans, procurement policies and procedures

**About you**

To be successful in the Category Specialist (ICT) you will have:

- ICT procurement experience in either state or local government, with experience in QITC contracts
- Belief in our values of communication, collaboration, integrity, efficiency, and leadership

To be successful in the Category Specialist (Goods and Services) role you will have:

- Possession of graduate or post-graduate qualifications in a relevant discipline, pursuing qualifications or substantial experience
- Expertise in category management, strategic sourcing, and contract management, within a governance framework

These are permanent full time, level 7 positions with a salary between $110,575 to $117,271 plus 12.5% superannuation.
