**Disability support worker**

We currently have an opening for a disability support worker. Assisting clients with personal care, shopping, cleaning, transportation, and support in the community across the Canberra region.
- Must be a female.
- Weekdays only during the day time, no weekend work or overnight shifts available.
- Casual position with some regular shifts.
- Pay dependable upon experience and qualifications.

**You Must have**:

- Minimum qualification of Certificate 4 in disability or willing to complete a cert 4.
- Must have at least 3 years experience in Mental health and disability with equivalent required experience and skills
- Working With Vulnerable people check (WWVP Card)
- Police check
- Current First Aid certificate or willing to update.
- Current Driver’s license
- Must have a reliable car with comprehensive car insurance. _You will be paid mileage for transporting on shift._
- A smart phone with internet access.
- Be fully vaccinated

- Must be mature, reliable, responsible and have excellent work ethic, with strong values around duty of care.
- A desire to provide personal centered care and the ability to connect with clients so that you are welcomed into their homes.
- To act in a compassionate and non judgmental manner.
- You must be eligible to work in Australia
- Follow organisations policies and procedures.

**Job Types**: Permanent, Casual

Pay: From $42.20 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 6 per week

**Benefits**:

- Travel reimbursement

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Fixed shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- No weekends

Supplementary Pay:

- Christmas bonus
