**The opportunity**

Great opportunity to join the Elders Insurance team as an Assistant Manager, Agency Partnerships looking after QLD and Northern NSW Agency Network. In this role you will act as an assistant to the business relation partnership with Elders Insurance Agents and their teams to profitably grow the business and meet sales, growth and retention targets.

**Your new role**
- To manage and deliver a strategic Elders Insurance Agency development pipeline.
- To strengthen Agency relationships and improve visibility of the portfolio and new business opportunities.
- Monitor and review Agent performance against sales targets in accordance with business plan.
- Review existing portfolios and recommend strategies for increased growth.
- Develop and share data to influence business decisions considering the Agent Business /Development plan.
- Provide technical and specialist product expertise to Agents on the range of products offered
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including customers, Agents, business partners and colleagues to support constructive, mutually beneficial relationships.
- Possess a strong awareness of market dynamic and demonstrate market cycle awareness to be able to operate effectively and appropriately.
- Network internally and externally to promote the interests of Elders Insurance and to learn from others. Contribute to opportunity and knowledge sharing culture.
- Maintain knowledge about legislative changes and regulations to enhance the relationships with clients.
- Communicate any product changes and/or updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Agency succession planning and identifying new agency talent.
- Refinement of processes and procedures to improve sales systems and procedures.
- Monthly reporting to review service and performance standards against expectation.
- Assist with portfolio remediation and development.

**About you**
- Previous experience within insurance underwriting or internal dispute resolution preferred.
- Some knowledge of insurance sales/business development function.
- Excellent customer service and relationship building skills.
- Ability to work with competing demands and deliver on agreed targets.
