Create your best future and join Mainframe Infrastructure Services team as a Technical Program Mainframe Manager. **What’s the role?** This person will be responsible for supporting Westpac’s complex mainframe environment and the technical team. This role plays an important part in managing the development and change of the Mainframe and ensures that the agreed solution is delivered within the agreed timeframes. You will be involved in the following responsibilities: - Accountable for leading the delivery of projects and changes on the Mainframe platform. - Ensuring the technical facets of a project is delivered to scope, time and quality. - Accountable for the development of the project Change Management. - Work with and provide information to Project Managers or other Subject Matter Experts as required. - Ensuring appropriate risk management is implemented. - Report on project progress **What do I need?** To be successful in this **Technical Program Mainframe Manager**role, you will have: - 10+ years’ relevant IT industry experience working with Mainframes - 7+ years’ experience in a complex IT infrastructure environment incorporating planning, implementation, operational management, configuration, and maintenance. - Have good knowledge of Mainframe infrastructure, technologies, and products. - Project management skills are desirable, but not mandatory. - The ability to navigate around the mainframe platform. - Attention to detail. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. **Why join us?** We’re obsessed with becoming our customers' #1 banking partner for life and we’re looking for people who are passionate about helping us achieve that goal.
