**About the Role**:
The Device Management Specialist is a senior role within the End User Computing (EUC) team. Its primary purpose is to design, develop, deploy, manage, and maintain the Technology catalogue and Standard Operating Environment (SOE) for all endpoint devices and associated hardware and software.

This role is a senior mentor to the EUC 1st and 2nd level team members and provides guidance, support and coaching with a primary objective to improve the overall customer experience and have incidents and requests resolved in the timeliest manner.

This role may be required after hours from time to time to assist with major incidents resolution.

**Responsibilities**:

- Executes activities and relevant service management processes to meet agreed Service Levels Objectives (SLOs) and ITIL best practices.
- Plans and schedules software distributions (such as time critical release upgrades, security, and stability patches) in a way that minimises user disruption and a focus on customer experience, requiring mínimal user assistance and interaction
- Selects, implements, manages, configures, and maintains EUC device management platforms, policies and associated infrastructure to meet the needs of the client
- Provides specialist technical advice to senior and business stakeholders to aid in the delivery of company objectives

**Skills and Experience**:

- A minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role
- Specialist level experience working with Microsoft Modern Workplace solutions, including Windows 10, Enterprise Mobility + Security and Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune and SCCM)
- Specialist level experience in SOE Management and Windows Operating System Deployment using SCCM Task sequences. Must have experience with Windows as a Service (WAAS) servicing model
- Strong Windows software packaging
- Extensive hands-on experience automating processes through scripting using PowerShell
- Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM/MAM) - Intune and IBM MAAS highly desirable
- Experience with Group policy administration and best practice
- Familiarity with O365 services including Exchange Online, Office ProPlus, SharePoint Online, Conditional Access and Azure Active Directory.
