**Position Overview**:
We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team at Heroes 4 Life. As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing day-to-day support and care to our clients, promoting their well-being and independence in line with NDIS guidelines.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide one-on-one support to clients with disabilities in their homes or within the community.
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
- Foster a safe and inclusive environment that respects the dignity and autonomy of each client.
- Encourage and facilitate community participation and social activities.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and the client's support network to ensure the best possible outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with NDIS requirements.
- Communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and their families.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience as a Support Worker or in a similar role preferred.
- Cert III in Individiual Support or similar required
- Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
- A genuine passion for supporting individuals with disabilities to lead fulfilling lives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy, patience, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to adapt to the unique needs and preferences of each client.
- Knowledge of NDIS policies and procedures is a plus.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
